The new 6-week Beginner class starts on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 6:30 pm. Cost is $40 for the 6 classes.
The class will run from March 10, 2009 through April 21, 2009 (no class on March 24, 2009).

THIS is the semi annual event you have been waiting for! This is what will help you through this rough-biting-cold winter! (and coincidently this will help us produce Bellies For Life!)

Come and shop for a good cause - all items are donated by Pangaea dance members and friends, all proceeds go toward producing Bellies For Life and eventually to a Breast Cancer fund.

When? Saturday, February 7, 2009 from 8 AM till Noon
Where? 1201 W. Clark, Champaign IL

Reflections collaborates with Amasong

Pangaea Dance Studio and Amasong are putting a new meaning to the phrase "Sisters are doing it for themselves":

Reflections Dance Co. was invited by Amasong to perform at their December show and like-wise Amasong was invited to perform in Bellies For Life 2009.

The dancers are excited about this opportunity to perform to live vocal music and are looking forward to it.

Gypsy Style Garage Sale on July 26th

The coolest event of the summer brought to you by the gypsy ladies of Pangaea Dance - a gypsy style garage sale, where you can shop for a good cause!

Pangaea dance studio is holding its semi-annual Gypsy Style Garage Sale, where all proceeds are going towards the seed money for producing Bellies For Life 2009.

  • Where? 1101 W. Springfield Ave., Champaign
  • When? A single day garage sale - starts on Saturday July 26th, at 8 AM till noon.
  • What? All items are donated by Pangaea Dance members and their extremely supportive families and friends.
  • What for? start up money for the annual breast cancer fund raiser - Bellies For Life.
  • How can you help? We would love to see you amongst our shoppers, but if you have "stuff" taking up space in your home feel free to drop and run on Friday July 25th, between 6 and 7 PM.

Reflections at the Cincinnati is canceled

Reflections is regretting to announce cancellation of its participation at the first belly dance carnival in Cincinnati OH. Due to last moment personal reasons the Reflections caravan will not head east on August 2nd. However, we know it will still be a fabulous event. For more details visit Akasha's web site.

New class schedule this summer

Effective June 18th, 2008 - the advanced and choreography classes are being held on Thursdays at 7:30 and 8:30 respectively. For more details see the classes page.
