Pangaea Dance is not only dedicated to furthering precise instruction, and
passionate performance, but also educating the public about this highly
evolved and striking art form. Our philosophy incorporates a reverence for
the Middle Eastern history of the dance, with an honest approach to its
dynamic relationship with the West. We realize that students who choose our
studio are looking for fun and friendship as much as art or fitness.
Therefore we structure classes so that students can enjoy a good time in a
relaxed atmosphere while they are establishing solid technique and healthy
habits for the future. Whether you dream of shining on stage, losing a few
pounds, or just hanging out in an open-minded and culturally diverse crowd, there
is a place for your goals at Pangaea Dance.
We now offer 2 classes - advanced and choreography, at Evolve club in downtown Champaign.
Our classes are taught by 3 of our lead dancers for a flat rate of $20 per month.
Students may (and are encouraged to) participate in the choreography class even when not wishing to perform.
